On August 12, 2010, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Fourteen days later, I had breast-conserving surgery to remove a “tiny” malignant tumor in my left breast.
After taking nearly a year off from blogging, I’m back on the job as I walk through this unplanned journey. You may join me along the way at Strong & Courageous, or you may follow me on Twitter. ~ cck

I am humbled by your willingness to share your life. You and Paul show Christ in ways that bring glory to our Father. Thank you.
Dear God,
In the mighty name of your son Jesus, I pray for my sister Carolyn. She has been afflicted with the disease of breast cancer, but I come in agreement with her and everyone who is praying for her, that no weapon formed against her shall prosper. Touch heal and deliver like only you can father. You have done it so many times before and I believe it is a small thing for you to do it again. You said in your word that we would be able to lay hands on the sick and that they would recover. God I am not able to physically lay hands on my sister but I can send prayer her way and the ministering angels will touch her body. I stand on the promises of Psalms 91 concerning my sister and I plead the blood of your precious son Jesus over her now. It is so, I beleive it and I will pray this prayer until the spirit of the Lord tells me otherwise
